Materials Recovery
End-of-life WEEE processing designed to separate and recover metals, plastics, and PCB fractions for reintroduction into responsible downstream supply chains.
What We Do
Materials Recovery
After intake, refurbishment, and component recovery have extracted available value, Cyclon's materials recovery capability is designed to process the residual WEEE stream. Equipment will be dismantled, sorted, and pre-processed to isolate distinct material fractions — ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, PCB material, cables, and hazardous components. Sorted fractions will be transferred to qualified downstream processors with full traceability documentation.

Our Process
Receipt & Classification
WEEE batches are received, weighed, and classified by stream type. Each batch is logged with origin, category, and estimated material composition before processing begins.
Dismantling
Manual and semi-automated dismantling isolates distinct material types — removing hazardous components and separating identifiable fractions for downstream sorting.
Sorting & Segregation
Separated materials are sorted into defined fractions: ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, PCB material, plastics, cables, and hazardous waste streams requiring specialist handling.
Pre-Processing & Downstream Transfer
Sorted fractions are prepared for transfer — compacted, packaged, or containerised as required — and handed to qualified downstream processors with full transfer documentation.
