Materials Recovery
End-of-life processing to sort and recover metals, plastics, and material fractions for responsible downstream recycling.
What We Do
Materials Recovery
At the end of a product's usable life — after refurbishment and parts recovery have extracted what value they can — Cyclon's materials recovery service processes the residual. We dismantle, sort, and pre-process electronic waste streams to separate material fractions: ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, circuit board material, cables, and more. Sorted and prepared fractions are then transferred to licensed downstream processors.
Services
Our Process
Receipt & Weighing
Material is received and weighed at intake. Batches are logged with origin, category, and estimated composition for traceability.
Dismantling
Manual and semi-automated dismantling separates material types — removing hazardous components and isolating distinct fractions.
Sorting & Segregation
Separated materials are sorted into defined fractions: steel, aluminium, copper, PCB, plastic types, cables, and hazardous waste streams.
Pre-Processing & Transfer
Fractions are prepared for transfer — compacted, packaged, or containerised as required — and handed over to licensed downstream recyclers with full documentation.
