Battery Handling & Recovery
Safe screening, sorting, reconditioning, and recovery of battery units across all chemistries and form factors.
What We Do
Battery Handling
Batteries require specialist handling at every stage of their end-of-life journey. Cyclon's battery handling service covers the full cycle — from safe intake and screening through to reconditioning, recovery, and compliant transfer. We handle lithium-ion, lead-acid, NiMH, and other chemistries across a wide range of form factors, including packs from consumer devices, power tools, industrial systems, and vehicles.
Services
Our Process
Intake & Screening
All battery units are received and individually screened for safety — identifying damaged, swollen, or thermally compromised cells before they enter the workflow.
Safety Assessment
Units are classified by chemistry, condition, and risk level. Unsafe units are quarantined and managed under dedicated safe storage and disposal protocols.
Reconditioning or Recovery
Viable units are tested and reconditioned where possible. Non-viable units are prepared for material recovery — cells discharged, disassembled, and sorted by chemistry.
Transfer & Documentation
Recovered material is transferred to licensed processors. Full transfer documentation, weight records, and compliance certificates are issued for every batch.
